The Oude Kerk - in English 'Old Church'- is the oldest building in Amsterdam and it's located in the Red Lights District. It was inaugurated in 1302 as a wooden chapel and it was remodeled throughout the years until it ended up being what it is today, a Gothic style Basilica. 

Rembrandt used to come here evey week and his kids were baptized in this church.

INFORMATION

Price: Adults: 10€.

Students and +65: 5€.

Kids under 13 years old: free entrance.

Hours: Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00.

Sunday from 13:00 to 17:30.

Closed on December 25th, January 1st and April 30th.
