Chinatown in Bangkok, also known as Yaorawat, is an old commercial area and the largest Chinese neighborhood of the world. It was founded in 1782 and it can trick you into thinking that you are, indeed, in China: chaotic streets with bright neon signs in their language, restaurants with traditional food, shops selling goods and jewelry that can easily be found in China, Chinese Buddhist architecture and much more can be found in its streets.

One of the most visited spots in Chinatown is Wat Traimit, a temple that has a statue of Buddha that’s solid gold and 3 meters of height.
