The Hungarian Parliament Building, also known as the Parliament of Budapest due to its location, is located on the bank of the Danube. The construction started in 1885, it was inaugurated in 1896 on the 1000th anniversary of the country, but it wasn't fully completed in 1902. It has Neo-Gothic style and it has a mix of Renaissance and Baroque details.

It's the largest building in the country and the tallest in Budapest.

Opening hours: 

April 1 –October 31: Monday to Sunday from 8:00 to 18:00.

November 1– March 31: Monday to Sunday: 8.00 to 16:00.

Visits are restricted during weeks in which the National Assembly holds its plenary sittings. On the first day of the plenary, the building will be accessible to visitors from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and the ticket office will be open until 11.00 a.m.

The Hungarian Parliament Building, also known as the Parliament of Budapest due to its location, is located on the bank of the Danube. The construction started in 1885, it was inaugurated in 1896 on the 1000th anniversary of the country, but it wasn't fully completed in 1902.
