Memorial for the Jews

Information

Cora-Berliner-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin, Alemania

The Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is a memorial that was inaugurated in 2005. It consists of 2711 concrete slabs that have different heights, and which are located on a wavy surface that makes it vary from side to side.

It was designed by architect Peter Eisenman from New York and its establishment was controversial because it's abstract and it doesn't have a central point. Every visitor can interpret the memorial on its own way.
