The Jewish Museum has exhitibions of works of art and objects of everyday life related to the history of the Jews who lived and live in Germany over the past 2.000 years. It consists of the main building, the Tower of the Holocaust and the Garden of the Exile.

The museum was inaugurated in 1999 and it was designed by polish architect Daniel Libeskind. The idea of the building is to reflect the emptiness that the Jews from Berlin left during the Holocaust.
