Széchenyi Termal Baths is one of the largest medicinal baths in Europe and of the most famous in Budapest. It's located in a Neo-baroque palace built specifically for it. It has 18 pools with medicinal natural hot spring waters, 10 saunas and steam cabins, massage therapies, facial treatments and much more.
Hungary has been known as the country of baths for many centuries through history: the first spa baths were built by Roman settlers, then Turkish occupiers built many of the famous Turkish baths during the 16th century and then the natural medical trends settled in the 19th and 20th centuries.
