Hello, I'm Andrea!
Vermouth fan
Italian, 35. I've moved 12 years ago for work and never left. I bet you you won't find anyone having tried more wine and tapas bar than me.
I like to show Barcelona the way I live it

Seeing all the amazing highlights is a must, but those areas tend to be overcrowded, so it's inevitable to want to escape from the mass from time to time to relax and get to feel a little bit of the local side of the city. Local restaurants and bars are the best to avoid huge numbers of tourist traps, and I can lead you to the best tapas bars, wine bars and hidden corners. (Less)
Bar
Bar Leo
A typical bar that conserves Barceloneta's true personality. Run by an old woman called Leo, the bar is a homage to Flamenco singer Bambino (who Leo used to date ;) ).
Museum
Fundació Antoni Tàpies
Contemporary Art Museum dedicated to the famous Catalan Artist, Antoni Tápies. Even if you're not into art it's nice to have a look at the building from the outside!
Monument
Convent de Sant Agustí
Former convent that's now a hidden courtyard, perfect to have a nice coffee, beer or wine pause. There are interesting events on its terrace on some weekends.
Green
Parc de la Creueta del Coll
Away from the tourist crowds, this park offers amazing views of Barcelona, a public open-air swimming pool in summer and a Chillida statue. Chillida is a famous basquian artist and statue represents a hand which is trying to catch its own reflection in the water.
All my guides include my favorite spots in Barcelona
