Barcelona offers the possibility to enjoy the sea as well as the mountains. I like to explore beyond the obvious and main touristic icons, I love the popular culture and the Barcelona for insiders stopping, of course, in the best bars and true "bodegas", avoiding the chains and supporting locals. Food
1881 per Sagardi
Enjoying a delicious gastronomy and contemporary cocktails on the terrace while having views of the port and skyline of the city is unique. Dedicated to the Vasque and Mediterranean gastronomy, it's located on top of the Museum of History of Catalonia. Try to go at sunset, the views are even more amazing!
Green
Parc de la Ciutadella
The Parc de la Ciutadella is a public park perfect for a stroll around its green spaces and monuments. One of the highlights is the Monumental cascade, but it also has a music roundabout, a parade ground, the Castle of the three dragons and much more. It can get really crowded, so I'd suggest arriving early in the morning and having breakfast in front of the cascade.
Cafeteria
Cosmo
Galeria Cosmo is a cafe and contemporary art space, hosting concerts, cultural courses, pop-up shops and events. They have all types of coffee and milk for all tastes, so just choose yours and enjoy it!
Bar
Bobby's Free
A speakeasy cocktail bar that seems to be only a barber shop, but given the right password you'll enter the incredible English style lounge area. They have a new password every few days, so make sure you check their website before going!
My guides mix the best places to eat and visits to highlights and local spots.

We had very good meals following marc's suggestions. even if we were not the only tourists, you could tell those places were frequented by locals.
