Information
Parque Eduardo VII, Parque Eduardo VII, 1070-051 Lisboa, Portugal
The Eduardo VII Park is a public park that has different attractions, like 3 greenhouses where there are exotic plants and cactus, for example. There's a sports pavilion named in honor of the national athlete Carlos Lopes. The park also has a 25th of April Memorial which has a platform with the most beautiful views of the city, with the Avenida da Liberdade, the Tagus and the hills of Arrábida on them.
It was originally called Liberty Park, but changed its name in 1903 to reinforce diplomatic relations between Portugal and England, when the king of the last country came to visit.
