The Tower Bridge is considered one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. It's a drawbridge that was lifted by vapour machines, inaugurated in 1894, and designed in Victorian style.
It used to have high-level walkways, but they were closed in 1910 because people thought they weren't safe, and they were turned into a Museum in 1982. The exhibition shows how the elevation system with the vapour machine worked, the role of the Bridge throughout the history of the city and some photos of the most famous bridges of the world.
