You definitely have to go up to this observation deck. You'll see everything (including the Empire State, Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty) at your feet.
I recommend booking tickets beforehand, you'll save lots of time from the queues.

The One World Trade Center is part of the reconstruction of the World Trade Center that was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of september 11, 2001. It is also known as "Freedom Tower", just as the north tower that was broken down during the attacks was known.
The building has an observation deck on top, on the 100, 101 and 102 floors, from where the views of the city are unique. In the elevator used to go up to the deck in 47 seconds, visitors can see the transformation of New York City throughout the years, from the beginning with woods to the skyscrapers that are there today.
