One of the most beautiful and unique neighbourhoods in Paris. Get lost in its streets and enjoy its beauty!

Information

9 Place Jean-Baptiste Clément, 75018 Paris, Francia

The Montmartre neighbourhood is the most bohemian district in Paris. Known as the Painter's neighbourhood, it was home to many artists throughout the years. Parisians used to avoid going to this area at the end of the 19th century because of the many cabarets and brothels that opened there, but that changed when many artists chose to live there during the Belle Époque, fact that gave it a more bohemian and unique atmosphere. Van Gogh, Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani and Tolouse-Lautrec were some of the artists that chose Montmartre to live or work.

The district is full of restaurants, cafés, bars, cabarets and the beautiful Basílica of the Sacré-Coeur.
