The Panthéon is a mausoleum that's located in the Latin Quarter of Paris. Between the people who is buried here are the tombs of Voltaire, Marie Curie, Rousseau and Victor Hugo.
It's also known because in 1851, the physicist Foucault built the pendulum with which he demonstrated the rotation of the Earth beneath the central dome. It was originally built as a church.
