As an architect i walk a lot … Istanbul is largest city in Turkey which Byzantion named Constantinople. Maybe because of that, many foreigner thinks Istanbul is capital city of Turkey. As an architect i walk a lot around the city so i could say i know many less known places besides touristic places. I like cooking because i like eating! I always try to eat in different restaurants in my neighborhood for explore new tastes. I like going out with friends for drink and some nights end with dance. There are many option for night life depends on how much you have, but everybody have fun. For coffee addicts, there are too many new coffee shops that doing own special in uniq designed shops in trendy places that means many things waiting to explore. Also few years ago coffee festival has been started. I cycle sometimes but it's not easy in small and sloppy streets between many cars. This city is not suitable for doing sports even there is not so many parks in the center. However there are small chambers for all sports that everybody can join and sometimes large events overall the city. Bosphorus is most important mark for Istanbul the city connect with 3 bridges and sea routes. Many historical part close to it. Museums, exhibition halls concert areas mostly in center, also there are some romantic routes to watch the city. 1 or 2 times it snow in a year, i like to watch city when snowing but must see in every season! + Más
