The Arch of Rua Augusta is a triumphal arch located at the end of Rua Augusta and on one side of the Commerce Square. It was built after the earthquake, fire and tsunami of 1755, so it symbolises the rebirth of the city.
Visitors can access the Clock Room to see an exhibition of its history and to have beautiful views of Lisbon.
