The High Line is a public park located in the Meatpacking district, built on an elevated rail structure from Gansevoort St. to 34th St. on Manhattan’s West Side.

The park was built to prevent the demolition of the rail track and it was idea of the residents in the year 1999. With overlooks, passages and places to sit, the park has become popular both between locals and tourists.

Opening hours: every day from 7 am to 10 pm.

Price: free access.
