This cabaret is located on a hill of the bohemian neighbourhood of Montmartre. Its the oldest of the city and its name, in English "the fast rabbit", was given by the famous painting on its exterior that consists of a rabbit escaping from a pot.
Many artists that lived in the neighbourhood used to frequent this cabaret to enjoy the shows and expose their work, that could be songs, poems or paintings. Two of the most renowned persons that assisted to the cabaret were Pablo Picasso and Amedes Modigliani.
Nowadays Au Lapin Agile is still functioning and is frequented by tourists and locals that wish to enjoy a show and have a good time.

Show and a drink: €28. Students (under 26): €20 except for Saturdays and public holidays. Second drink: €5 (alcoholic), €3 (non-alcocholic).
