Spanish Synagogue - Španělská synagoga

Information

Vězeňská 1, 110 00 Praha 1-Staré Město, Chequia

The Spanish Synagogue was built in 1868 and it has Moorish style. The building was repaired during the 1990s, after the nazis used it as a warehouse to store confiscated goods from Jews during the Second World War.

Its name was given because it resembles the Moorish details of Spanish monuments, like La Alhambra.
