The Arcibasílica di San Giovanni in Laterano - in English 'Basilica of St. John Lateran'- is the oldest church in Europe. It was founded during the 4th century in honour of St. John the Baptist and John the Evangelist, and it's now the Cathedral of Rome. 

This Basilica is where the Popes were enthroned up until 1870 and nowadays it's where the Pope celebrate Holy Thursday Mass.

The Arcibasílica di San Giovanni in Laterano - in English 'Basilica of St. John Lateran'- is the oldest church in Europe. It was founded during the 4th century in honour of St. John the Baptist and John the Evangelist, and it's now the Cathedral of Rome.
