Unnamed Road, Naitōmachi, Shinjuku City, Tōkyō-to 160-0014, Japón

The Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is one of the most famous parks in Tokyo. It has forested areas, a restaurant, an art gallery, a greenhouse, some buildings and 3 types of gardens: a Japanese landscape garden with ponds, islands and bridges, a French garden that's more formal and an English garden with wide lawns and cherry trees.

It was built during the Edo Period as a Tokyo residence of the feudal lord and then it was transformed into a botanical garden. After that, from 1903, it was used as a recreation and entertainment area by the Imperial Family. It was destroyed during the Second World War, being reopened in 1949 as a Public Park after being rebuilt.
