Information

4 Chome-1-7 Aomi, Koto City, Tokyo 135-0064, Japón

Odaiba is an artificial island that has lots of shopping and entertainment options. It has incredible buildings, such as the Fuji TV Building, the Telecom Center and the Tokyo Big Sight, lots of green spaces, and even a ferris wheel.

The island was first built during the late Edo Period (1603-1868) to protect the city from possible attacks from the sea. In fact, 'daiba' means 'fort'. It was continued to be built during the next decades, but it wasn't until the late 1990's that it turned into an entertainment attraction, due to the construction of several hotels, shopping malls and the Yurikamome elevated train line.
