The Bell tower is the tallest building of Venice, so it provides a perfect observatory platform to see the city from above. It's the Bell tower of St. Mark's Basilica in Piazza San Marco and it's 98.5 meters high.

In the past, the tower also served as a lighthouse for the sailsman. In 1902 the tower collapsed and it had to be rebuilt, inaugurated in 1912 as we know it today.
