HISTORY
The Born Cultural Center is located inside of the structure where the neighbourhood market used to be. In the center visitors can see archeological remains from the medieval times in good condition. They were found in 2002, year in which works were being carried out to build the Provincial Library of Barcelona.
The remains can be seen from above and visitors con opt to do a guided visit of the exposition. It also works as a space of memory because there's another exposition about the events that occured during the Spanish War of Succession. Furthermore, some activities are organized in the center, including literature, theatre and music workshops, and visitors can also find a library and a restaurant.

From March to Septermber: Tuesday to Sunday and holidays 10:00 to 20:00
From October to February: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 19:00 -- Sunday and holidays 10:00 to 20:00 -- December 26 open until 14:30.
