Palau de la Música Catalana
Charles says
The interior is at least as impressive as the outside. You can only visit it with guided tours that you can book here.
However, my personal recommendation is to attend one of their Flamenco concerts and shows. It's the perfect way to end a perfect day.

HISTORY
The Palau de la Música Catalana -in English "Palace of Catalan Music"- is one of the jewels of modernism in Barcelona. It was built between 1905 and 1908 and the design was made by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the most well-known catalan modernist architects along with Gaudí.
Both the interior and the exterior have incredible details that make the building unique, some of them are: the vestibule has big stone stairs; the concert hall has a skylight made out of colored glasses as if it were a big sun; the stage is surrounded by sculptures and it has a big organ.
The Palace still functions as a music hall, so visitors can attend a concert or go on a guided tour.
