Monument
Old Synagogue
Information
Szeroka 24, 33-332 Kraków, Polonia
The Old Synagogue was built in the 15th century, around 1407. It's the oldest and best preserved synagogue in Kraków. It was a very important center of power and prayers for the Jews, as well as a place where important decisions were taken.
It suffered lots of fires and robberies throughout the years, that's why it had to be rebuilt many times, which explains the mix of styles.
