To go to the next point don't follow the map, turn right on the first street as soon as you get out of the Palace into the roundabout and go through the porches.

The Imperial Palace used to be the residence and seat of the government until 1918 of the Habsburg emperors. It's one of the biggest palaces in the world, as a complex. The construction of its different parts were made in different centuries, the oldest dating back to the 13th century and the newest to the 20th century.

Nowadays, the complex can be visited and it has various museums like the Sisi Museum, the Imperial Apartments and the Silver Collection, the Spanish Riding School, and much more.

Opening hours: September to June: every day from 9:00 to 17:30.

The Imperial Palace used to be the residence and seat of the government until 1918 of the Habsburg emperors. It's one of the biggest palaces in the world, as a complex.
